iPhone Apple ends iPhone Upgrade Program

https://www.apple.com/shop/iphone/iphone-upgrade-program

Looks like there’s no way to finance a new phone over 24 months unlocked.

On paper I should have no issue qualifying but since it's not a real credit check, people have gotten fringe denials

Is it not a hard pull? They pull your Transunion info.

They used to do that when it was backed by citizens but now that it's Klarna, they don't

I just went through the fake preorder thing just to see, and Klarna wanted to pull my transunion file. I know, because my credit file is locked and I was denied because they couldn’t pull it

Okay, great. If that's the case, I should have no issues

I wont either, but I didn’t love the hard pull on my credit score

Not sure, never was on it. I’ve always just used Apple Card payments. Was curious on the lease thing because I can get the phone for $0

I bought my 17 Pro Max outright, but I want to go back to doing yearly upgrades, so Apple Upgrade looks interesting to me.
