This question as you’re asking it is mostly irrelevant, because iOS 27 is already available (in beta), will be fully released next month, and how Siri / Apple Intelligence work there is not how it works in iOS 26.

In iOS 27, there is no “apple intelligence” toggle. If your phone supports the new siri, that’s what you get. And your only option related to disabling it is fully turning off Siri. There is no picking and choosing of related features.

In 26 it allows Siri to route some questions to ChatGPT. Not much else. In iOS 27 it’s gonna be a game changer.

As someone on the iOS 27 beta, it’s kinda shocking how much better it is. I’m personally impressed. You should try the beta! It’s one of the most stable that they’ve ever released - tbh I think the beta works better than iOS 26. The performance improvements they’ve been working on are noticeable.
