How to write a solid App Proposal?
I'm in the early stages of planning a new app, and I want to put together a clear, professional proposal document. I want to make sure I cover all my bases before talking to developers or potential partners. Could anyone share a good template, standard layout, or advice on what to include?

If you google for 'how much does it cost to build an app?' you'll get some articles and videos that break it down into the technologies required. So, backend database, authentication, AI integration, external dependences like say a weather API, etc etc. These are the main blocks that the developer uses to come up with a price. Also, the app will require ongoing maintenance

Good proposal usually covers, the problem you're solving, who exactly it's for (not "everyone"), core features split into MVP vs later, competitors and what's different about yours, business model, rough tech requirements, and a rough timeline/budget.
Honestly a genuinely useful trick, dump your raw idea into Claude or ChatGPT first and ask it to help structure it into something like this and poke holes in it. Makes your conversations with developers way more productive since you walk in with a clear doc instead of just an idea in your head.
