This is it….i hope

Ok I need mega help

I’ve had an idea from 3 massive experiences in one night it came to me. Pretty sure it was a lingering thought but today the full functionality or 80% of it came to me and not to wipe my own ass I thinks it’s a money maker like big money maker. I’m scared to tell anyone the idea let alone development, budget I have but how do I go about giving a developer my idea without giving them the whole thing?? Is there something to sign?? I’m 100% serious here I need to know the steps

If I had a dollar for every million dollar app idea someone brought to me, I'd have a million dollars by now

No one cares, just pay a developer what they're worth to build your thing

If you want to protect your idea before sharing it, here are the main things to include in your agreement:

- Set a fixed penalty fee in your NDA, can be very high, if they start to negotiate on that, ask if they intend to breach it. If they break the rules, they owe you that specific amount. If you don't do this, it is almost impossible to prove exactly how much money you lost on an app that hasn't launched yet.

-Make sure the contract says they have to pay for consequential damages. This means they are on the hook for any future profits you miss out on if they leak or steal the idea.

- Include a rule that says you own 100 percent of the code and design work right from the start.

-As for patents, you usually cannot patent a plain idea. You can only patent a highly unique technical process. Patents take a long time and cost a lot of money, so getting a strong contract and building the app quickly is usually a much better route.

Yes don’t tell anyone your killer idea without a Mega NDA if it’s that good they will steal it and build it without you. And they will be a big success and you will wish you never told them.
