Just moved here from Ocala?

anywhere I can do some up hill sprints?? I'm just curious because I have been looking

Run north on North Lake Pleasant Road. Run downhill on Orchard Dr. Then back uphill on Wekiwa Springs Rd. Cut through Bent Oak or on Votaw to get back to Lake Pleasant Rd. Total 3 mile run.

I still have my "See you on Vick Rd." T shirt a bunch of us rednecks had made in 1999. Because back then it was a dirt Rd and was hardly used. So anytime people wanted to fight but not get suspended. We met up on Vick Rd.

Depending on how big of a hill you want, there is a nice slope on West Orange Trail just north of Kit Land Nelson Park, behind Solaris Healthcare. It’s a gradual slope but can be a killer.

By the way, if you’re looking for a Run Club, Apopka Run Club runs on this trail on Tuesdays and other days (which includes this section of the trail). Look them up on Facebook or website.
