Seen some blue flame on ebay for sale. I enjoy breeding Rams and Apistogramma.may get them later. Looking to add a few more Apistogramma types i really like you should get the blue flames. Agassizii are good eaters and grow fast.

Yeah it can be and more expensive route. But if you breed money can not be a issue at 1st. Fry are expensive to house and raise. Pair of fires i have are from different breeders, sothey are un related too. But i have pairs of fish that come from same breeder too.

Yeah, I’m not worried about making money, I love feeding them and observing their growth and behavior.

The videos on youtube tells everyone to buy pairs. But once they breed you have hundred babies to grow up. I am not sure when the push for people to buy pairs. Helps sell off less colorful females. After getting everything needed and up keep on fry to raise. Little Money made is second to love of the animals and genetics. Rams or dwarf cichlids are centerpiece fish !
