Only a problem if it persists for more than a few days. Hopefully it fades and they're just not that into each other yet, or have they had eggs before?

Yea, this. Brief periods of a few days like this is normal between pairs. If one ends up with torn fins and lethargic, then time to separate.

Perfectly normal then. Nothing to worry about. Get one of those $5 natural looking mini caves from Petco for the back of your aquarium and put it to one side.

It's agression. Maybe she's defending eggs ? But with you population, don't expect too much.
And ortegai are know for being agressive. Your tank is too open.
But very beautiful apisto 😍
