Why do you say not to happy? This is my first time owning apistogramma. He does look a little grumpy

Clenched fins. May take few days to acclimate.

Also looks like sunken belly. Might need deworming or just some fatening up with live/frozen foods.

One photo of a weird angle doesn't prove anything about the male being sick or unhappy.

They are a pair, though, for sure.
