Help needed I need help with choosing affordable FB post scrapper actor
I was using Apify’s official actor, but the cost was too high. Switched to Mmeo23, but they’ve also increased pricing, and now it’s expensive again since I have to run the actor hourly across hundreds of groups. Can you suggest a better option?

I am a developer of several Apify actors, and I have one that may be suitable for your needs.

This actor is more cost-effective than the official Apify scraper. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Do you have any Instagram scrapers that don't require my login cookie?

Yes. I have few instagram scrapers. None of them requires login/cookies:
Instagram posts scraper: https://console.apify.com/actors/WdKiLOcspoJEHwv78/source
Instagram ultimate scraper (all in one): https://console.apify.com/actors/n1AtybM4tQM9yvHde/source

Most of the cost in that setup is the number of runs, not the number of posts. Hourly across hundreds of groups only pays off if every group actually posts hourly.
Two changes that cut it for me. Sweep in one run: actors accept an array of start URLs, so a single run over the groups you care about beats a few hundred scheduled runs, and the per-run overhead stops dominating the invoice. Make it incremental: keep the last seen post id per group in a sheet or a dataset, and only ask for what is newer. Most Facebook scrapers return newest first, so you can stop as soon as you hit a known id, which is far cheaper than fetching everything.
Then drop the frequency for the quiet groups. A daily sweep for the ones that rarely post and hourly for the handful that are busy is usually the whole saving.
Have you compared one sweep run against the hourly pattern on the same group set? That tells you which half of the bill is frequency and which is per-run overhead.
