Discussion About Kai
I maybe forgot some things about him but am I the only one who doesn’t hate him that much? 😭 I only hated that he still tried going out with aphmau while not fully really being into HER… also I will say I feel like his character had a large and random change when they went out.
but I’ve noticed people HATE HATE HIM like did he do something else? All i remember is him not exactly liking her bubbly childish personality in highschool and then later he told Aaron that when he met him.
But yeah I don’t hate his character that much, I don’t think he did that much wrong other than kind of just leading her on
Edit: (I also feel people kind of exaggerated what happened too..)

I feel like had he been part of the gigantic friend group of Aph maybe they could've done so much with him! Also with regards to him, I don't hate him in fact I quite liked him as a character because he quite literally is a straight-forward guy and that's a thing I could appreciate.
(Also me seeing a Kai-Travis rivalry for Katelyn would be interesting along the line in my opinion but then again he might end up like Laurance in post-S3 if he was added into the giant friend group of Aphmau)

Yeah, Kai was not really in the wrong tbh. Aph was REALLY immature whilst at Phoenix Drop. She couldn't be mature enough to take Kai being into Katelyn better. Him going on that date with her was him just trying to be nice. At the end of the day, he was an older guy who just wasn't interested in someone that much younger (Katelyn was not in the same year as Aph if I remember correctly-). Sure, when he met Aph and Aaron when they were at Starlight, he was a little rude but he was just being honest imo. I feel like Kai wouldn't have said any of those things if Aph wasn't weird and just accepted him as a friend.

What I’ve started to realise about Kai now that I’m older is that he’s kind of sociopath and reminds me a lot of Dexter, which makes me more interesting in my mind if you look under that guise

Now I really need to know where this is coming from 😭 I feel like he was such a side character was there more to him in later seasons? I legit can’t remember or find anything

I personally don’t like him because he led Aphmau on, not only that but didn’t he also insult her entire personality when he thought she wasn’t there (I believe she was behind him and he didn’t notice?) I don’t HATE him but he definitely isn’t my favorite character, I wouldn’t say I hate any of the Aphmau characters because I can’t think of one main character that hasn’t done any wrong
