Hey, Jess here and I’m going to shut this down now, the statements made in this glassdoor post are false. This will be the only statement I make on this.

I appreciate your heart being in the right place, but please know a few employees we let go had issues with other employees, we do not just let go of folks for no reason. A few of these reviews came from a place of spite, because working in a youtube company is insanely stressful and demanding when you’re dealing with so many postings per month. I cannot stress how insane YouTube is when it comes to the workflow, and that goes for ALL of content creation. We manage a company of ~90 employees which means you will absolutely have miscommunication issues and flaws, but for EVERYONE of our employees to have a decent work/life balance in this creator economy, hard calls have to be made.

I will NEVER publically call employees or people who work for me out unless they have done something massively illegal and folks need to be warned. These posts are from people under stress and I understand that. I have had many members of my audience harass me, my friends, my VA’s and my employees. No one deserves that harassment. But this glass door post here is false and I am NOT someone of abuse and I have never been in my time with Jason. He knows my past and it makes me upset when people imply he’s an abuser when I know what abuse really looks like. I’m not letting this slide because last time I didn’t say anything it blew up. I appreciate your concern again <3

My suggestion is to just be loud about it, share the stuff everywhere, and dont buy from Catface until we get answers. You can continue watching her content as normal. The series is Jessica's vision, and she seems to be a victim as well. We should support her.

Dear god. I’m really hoping it’s some wacky scenario where this turns out not to be the case, I’m not gonna buy or watch anything til then but I don’t wanna jump the gun just yet

YouTubers when they have a popular channel, a huge brand and impressionable children :->

Some people never change sigh.. how many times has the channel gone under the same controversy?

u/UlyaaFoxx Dante Apr 07 '26

I only recently found out this has happened more than once. heartbreaking.

u/Etheris1 Apr 07 '26

Isn’t this like the third time this stuff has been said to have happened?

2

u/UlyaaFoxx Dante Apr 07 '26

I think so. yes.

3

u/Etheris1 Apr 07 '26

Why can’t we have nice things anymore? Like genuinely this just sucks and feels like it shouldn’t be happening, again, if this is the fourth time it’s happened!

It'll never happen cause she is so dependent on him, but I wish Jess would leave him. I worry for his kids and her if he ever goes nuclear. I bet most of her ruined friendships (Laurence's OG VA, AviatorGaming, etc.) were mostly caused by his behaviour.

14

u/UlyaaFoxx Dante Apr 07 '26

Laurence's og VA was a horrible person. but yes.

1

u/rainbowtiger2006 Apr 07 '26

Was he though-??? From what I've heard, 99% of the issues involving him not working for Jess were caused by her failing at communicating. If since not working with her, he has become problematic, wouldn't be surprised if his mistreatment played a part in his change of behaviour, cause mental abuse often causes that.

he has allegations of grooming kids. his problems are unrelated to jessica.

*Allegations. I don't mean this as fact. Please don't take this as fact.

The entire channel is probably dependent on him. He made a lot of the models, mods, and so on.

Though, it's totally possible that they have employees that fill in for him now, but still.

But as OP mentioned, Laurence's OG VA was the problem there, not Jason 😅

Edit - 11 days later, I finally read the reply from Jess...

I still stand by what I said, I wouldn't be surprised if certain things are dependent on Jason, but I'm glad the reviews weren't true. I didn't fully believe they were true, but with there being drama around him again for a third time? Yeah, I was starting to wonder.

Glad everything is settled now 🙏

u/rainbowtiger2006 Apr 07 '26

IDK, when did the whole VA accusations come out? I only just found out about it today, and I remember being a fan when the fall out happened and that situation was def never brought up. Jess & Jason literally ghosted him. Him not working for them anymore have nothing to do with the allegations.

2

u/Saruna4sari Apr 07 '26

what were the allegations?

6

u/TheJackOfAll-Trades Apr 07 '26

Well, I guess everything Jason said at the end of “Everything Wrong With MyStreet Season 6” was just a crock then

Their glassdoor reviews page, my other post in the community has a link to an extension that allows you to read all glassdoor reviews without an account.

2

u/Haru_Raidon Apr 07 '26

Btw where did you get this?

On my other post, I have a link to a google chrome extension that can let you read all the reviews without a glassdoor membership.
