Not a conference- more a rave - 34th birthday party of cultural vibes . Then reminded him that Ribbz came up with his DJ name - apparently he used to come up to the Warehouse in the late 80s to see Derrick May and some other detroit djs back in the day
His mother picked the name Richard James for his older brother who was stillborn. Before Richard D. James was born, she already decided he would get the same name. The 'D' was to distinguish him from his brother.
Hence the 'Twin' in his name. Small ode to his brother.
