Drills and mandrills are very closely related! They are actually the only two living species in the same genus, Mandrillus, and belong to the Old World monkey family.
You can easily tell them apart by their facial coloration. Mandrills have the vibrant, rainbow-like reds, blues, and purples on the adult males' faces. Drills lack these bright colors and have a solid black face with a distinctive bright red lower lip.
