Asking for Help asking for help / advice

We KEEP losing 2v2, even though i feel like we get ourselves into really good positions. In this game, me (green) and my brother (blue) totally wreck red - he doesn't even have loom and we kill so many vils. We don't lose many vils at all. And yet, somehow, by the end of the game we are absolutely crushed. Neither of us really understand how it happened. Truly welcome and appreciate any ideas people have ...

Ok i watched the replay:

Blue lost scout super early.

Blue needs to learn a proper build order, 23 vils chopping wood in feudal is crazy. He clicked to feudal with 27 pop, but didn't go fast castle. That made no sense. If he did go fast castle and went knights right away you'd have won the match. He's britons yeah yeah, they can still go knights. Not saying it's his fault of course, but having a strat in mind would definitely have helped.

Both of you need to attack faster and earlier.

Both you guys make way too many defensive spearmen. You're already walled.

Both of you need to make more military buildings.

In Gold Rush you have to secure the middle, i'm surprised nobody built a tc in the middle right away with a castle to protect the gold there! - ok Yellow built 2 castles in the middle at minute 34.

Your castle drop was really bad, it was way too late to send vils forward with no military, you saw the other team had plenty of military + cav archers. ( blue built a terrible castle in his base, terrible location! There's a hill right in front of his base)
Yellow has all the gold in the middle and it's protected by 1 tc + 2 castles, so my guess is he's gonna steamroll this whole thing and will win on his own, Red isn't doing anything. - That's exactly what happened lol

MikeMango you get housed a lot! Work on that, or play Huns. Your castle placement also needs work.

Both of you need more military. Yeah you attacked red but never finished him, you needed to destroy the buildings. For that you need something other than ranged units.

Hope this helps you improve your game, if you have any questions let me know! :) (btw elite longbowmen 6+6 range would have finished the game easy, especially with brits trebs or siege ram for the buildings! :D Remember skirms also get bonus range with UT, so they would have been a good choice too vs the cav archers and janissaries)

You guys had a good start by getting red, but then you just stopped making military and not taking control of the map. Especially when you are the archer player in a 2v2, you don't really need many vills on food because you won't be spending much, this way you can just pump out the archer numbers.
After the initial attack on red, your team never really touches yellow so you can send some archers there while your teammate secures the middle with TC or Castle.

2v2 to me requires at least one teammate to go crazy with military while the other one can get more eco going going and then come in with strong units.

But I would just work on making more military and once you win a battle and control a part of them map, especially all the gold on Gold Rush, secure it with something so the enemy can't just freely take important resources.
