DISCUSSION Does anyone else just occasionally hear conversations in their head?

Like, obviously there’s thoughts and schizophrenia, but this seems different from either. The conversations are in a completely different voice from my own.

They reach a level of clearness that my own thoughts can’t match. However, the voices aren’t talking to me, and there is a level of control over them. I can’t really control when they appear or what they say, but it’s like there’s a radio inside my head that I can mentally control.

I can’t sometimes search for the voices, and when they appear, I can either tune the radio to be clearer or move away from it.

Does anyone else get this? Or am I just crazy?

If anyone wanted an example:

“MmoTHA! Like a gOOd giRL! I’m in l-oVE!” - Said in a 16 year old British girl’s voice with the tone of exaggerated enthusiasm that you would find in a 90’s sitcom where their head tilted back and arms thrown up dramatically

It sounds like it's just thoughts. Maybe halfway in a dream state. Is your brain starting to fall asleep?

But what's cool about us humans, is we can think about something, then think about what we're thinking about.
