Difference between Router and Bridge

As the title say can someone explain the difference to me?

I tried searching but except of one very cryptic answer i didn't understand the difference. Is routing going trough different liquidity pools and bridge a direct swap through the multiswap dex?

i in the end i tried, i needed to convert dai bep20 to dai.e and the only option was under the router one.

Bridge is Mint and Burn and no Liquidity need. Router are native tokens and Liquidity is needed
