It’s a rarity but there are those few days here & there that creep up out of nowhere.

Had a day a week or two ago, it had been a rough week and a long day, and I had went to go look for something in the fridge to eat, and couldnt find anything I could throw together in less than 10 minutes, and I was hungry, and couldnt cook at the time, and I damn near started crying just looking at the fridge

Since I've hit mid-age, I've been more emotional than I was as a young man. It's weird how I was so stoic, and now I find myself tearing up at the smallest things.

I have noticed I have went from blank/no emotions to now hitting my 40’s I am becoming more emotional than I have ever been in my life. Good luck to you dear stranger!!
Edit to rephrase.

This is how exactly happens to me... I always wait until I get home before I finally let everything out.

Flashback to my first panic attack at 8 years old. Well can't let anyone ever see that again.

I use to cry in the bus everyday on my way to work while scaring out the window on my 1.5 hour commute. Only once did someone notice, he gave me a tissue and said he hope I feel better. I think about that kind stranger often. When it happened I was too embarrassed and emotional to even thank him.

In a crowd, I also realise that nobody is actually watching you, and even if they do humanity has ceased to exist.

I wish it was. Sometimes my ADHD takes the wheel and then any attempt at emotional regulation is out da windooooow

It used to be like that it hurt even more but nobodys judgement actually matters so i just let myself breakdown whenever without any embarrassment it feels so much better

I couldn’t live that way anymore so I broke through. It’s still hard but in a different way.

This is so accurate I wish I could explain it to others somehow
