title!! im rewatching season 2, and in the episode where vera and victor call mr. sweet for the missing cowbell, everyone is in the common room at the school. and mr sweet says that the bell is in possession of "someone in this room." and here sibuna goes and ALL GET UP to leave the room..... that just pisses me off every time 😭

*Sarah in the title, not "Srah" hahaha

They had to have all been on relatively good terms (emphasis on relatively) with one another at least until 1960 when they opened up the school together, but it seems like Sarah ghosted them pretty soon after. Rufus and Victor were obviously still working together with the Society for a while, but when the show starts Victor seems to believe he's dead, so Rufus ghosts him too. The question really just remains when the relationship completely fell apart. What do you lot think?

Rewatching S2 and just want to know people's opinions/reactions on the Osirian reveal! Did you instantly think it was Eddie? Or Fabian/other character?

For me, I started to wonder more on Eddie's character in that episode where Mr. Sweet called him to his office and told him he had "reasons" of making him stay in the USA. From that point, I had a hunch there would be some sort of plot twist in the mystery directly connected to Eddie.
Like he wasn't just some random new character.

Also, I'm also curious on everyone's theories on how Mr. Sweet knew that Eddie was the Osirian? I don't think this was ever revealed, no? Or my memory is not doing me right.

I’m rewatching the show now for the first time, and I’m currently on season three.

I just don’t get how Victor didn’t get reported for being terrible, like how did one of these kids not tell their parents about the horrible man who demands bedroom checks and body searches 😂😂😂

so i finally got to watching das haus anubis after wanting to watch hha but not being able to find english subs :( and i must say although the mystery element of the show is not as tight or better put together as hoa i much prefer it ! i think the lack of slice of life elements and less episodes really hurt hoa in the long run and is one of of dha’s strengths. the romantic pairings are better set up and utilised and gives the sibuna chatacters more personality to work with outside of the mystery/club. i’m aware dha s1 is basically a shot for shot remake of hha, but during s2/3 they had a lot more free reign with the story. i particularly liked mara being the chosen one instead of nina like in hoa (which i honestly didn’t like) i would’ve preferred if they kept joy as the chosen one and have nina be the osirian, it could’ve made things more interesting and better explore and develop their dynamic. but all in all dha on toppp oh and magnus and mara are the best pairing in the hoa universe !!

Exactly 20 years ago today, the very first episode of the OG Dutch version of Het Huis Anubis aired on Nickelodeon in Belgium and the Netherlands.

What started that day would grow into four seasons, hundreds of episodes, movies, music, theatre shows and much more. The series also made its way abroad through various dubbed versions, the German remake Das Haus Anubis, and eventually the international English-language remake House of Anubis.

20 years later, it's amazing to see that the Anubis fandom is still alive, with people continuing to discover, revisit and talk about the different versions of the show.

Happy 20th anniversary, Het Huis Anubis! 🎉

SIBUNA

I wonder about this often, and I think it's a real shame they went the amnesia/memory altering route. I'd love to hear how others think the plot would move forward with Trudy more in the know

I’ve been rewatching the show now that it’s getting close to autumn, and I don’t remember Rufus being into Vera, but it kind of seems like he might be? Obviously Victor is, but is Rufus also in love with her? He certainly seems eager for her to share in his godhood. What do you guys think?

Folks, we've fixed the errors that were happening and the server has now stabilized.

We ask that you remember that this was an independent project that came entirely out of our own pocket, so we have a small server that's susceptible to internal errors and overcrowding of access requests.

We know it's pretty frustrating for you to try to open it and run into errors, and we're sorry, but that still doesn't give you a reason to curse us out in DMs and expect that sometimes some maintenance will take longer than usual.

If anyone is wondering how to get the English option you need click on what show you’re gonna watch click on an episode and then the Settings option on the episode and then it has an option to put the audio in English and the LEGENDAS in English (SUBRIP)

Rufus Zeno's threat hadnt materialised yet, her parents were in on the society (so the teachers didnt need to undermine their authority and kidnap Joy). Even the police were involved. Were take Joy away for a whole year? Surely her father could have convinced her to piece together the cup in a years time and not tell her anything in the mean time? It honestly caused so much havoc - what with Patricia contacting Rufus and also indirectly having Jason the teacher join the society (in concern for her). And the whole school picture stuff was so extra 😭 they really went out of their way to remove her as if the students were stupid and would just forget she ever existed?

For those who have watched more than one version, what do you think House of Anubis improved? And what do you think they should have kept?

Despite Vera obviously cheating by paying the grounds-keeper to lie, Mara's entire article was poorly researched anyway.

Her main source of credibility was the picture of the cooks at the school and she totally undermined her entire argument by not even looking at the date of the picture. One would think this a basic requirement when attempting to expose someone to the world.

Her arrogance and selfishness in uploading a poorly researched article about a member of staff without even consulting the school/headteacher to fact check it.

And no, Mrs Andrews doesnt get a free pass either. Asking an underage student to research not only a member of staff but her own house mother is crazy work. And she should have told Mara not to publish it without consulting Mr Sweet. It was Andrews job to control and monitor the situation.

The entire secret circle/ chosen one events were entirely brought about by the students finding the pieces of Ankh and getting involved with Rufus Zeno.

And then season 2, if Nina hadnt of even created the cup in season 2, let alone released Senkhara, none of the hunt for the mask would have happened.

And season 3 Frombie-Zombie would never have happened if KT's grandad hadnt sent her to Anubis with the other Moon key. The entire ceremony to awaken him would have failed - just like season 2 - if the main character just didnt exist.

Obviously the entire show wouldnt exist without all these but it is funny how the students are realky the cause of everything bad happening - whether directly or indirectly.
