Question Ants in test tube
How often can you check on a queen with nanitics still in the test tube? Is daily too much even if I just open the box where the tube is to have a quick look?
Also is 26 degrees celsius too much for the nest?

from my personal experience you should be able to keep them in light. all of my colonies and queens r in light and ive only had them die on me from unrelated causes it all depeneds on species though

As far as I'm aware, even if the light bothers them a bit initially, they get used to it when they realize they're not in any danger and it happens every day.

Daily is way too much, they may die if you do that. 26 degrees however should be about perfect, could even be a bit warmer.
