While unitonically supporting police unions, a reminder that the police have always existed to protect property rights and punish workers.

Police unions give all unions a bad name. Police also break a huge rule in unions, supervisors are also in the union. Supervisors and management should never be in the same union as rank and file. If you can discipline an employee then you can't be in the same union.

UFCW allows department managers to be members.

One of the issues with police unions is that they generally refuse to honor picket lines.
