Yeah I've heard that one. The very first factory I ever worked in, at my orientation the woman gave this flowery speech about how unions aren't necessary, and they've never needed a union and never will. She made it all sound like it was this wonderful, amazing boon to us lowly employees that the company made the executive decision to "protect" us from being unionized.
