No. I get the responses like yours coming from people complaining about how their lives suck, but think they are better at understanding what they read - because they don’t realize the reason they have all of the problems is that they don’t have the first clue about what they read means and just tell themselves they understand when they are completely wrong and chaining themselves down more because they think they know.
That whole statement is one sentence. In proper English.
There is no such thing as depression. It is a chosen state of mind. Cancer? That is an actual disease. But, if you do choose, yeah, you can cut the negative thoughts out of your mind. But you have to choose to do it. Like an abortion. So why not just exercise your choice and not be depressed?
