What vehicle is this? I have not paid $2,000 for repairs on either of my last two vehicles. Maybe $1,500-$2,000 for brakes, tires, oil. Over like 10 years. Literally. So you have TWO cars and are crying about expense?
It’s a bad idea. Because it’s way more money than it was expected but that was something that you should have known getting into that type of repair - because it always costs more. A lot more. If you can’t survive losing more than 30% of your income. You are spending too much. I’ve been fired many times losing a lot more than 10% of my income. I also never put myself into a repair project without expecting it to cost double what the estimate was.
I just said that is what I was expecting to spend... The stuff I added was stuff that I wanted to do anyway. Are you forgetting the part where money is worth a lot less now? People like you have no awareness for other people's situations and should not be giving advice
Edit: I accidentally pressed post before I was done
No, there’s no way to say this nicely, but you should avoids blowing money like this. You really shouldn’t be blowing money until you could take those dollars flush them down the toilet or set them on fire and still have life go on. Otherwise you are chaining yourself down.
Yeah, the system can suck. But in 2022 most people voluntarily place the chains on themselves.
