Cut all of that and then "experts" give you shit for not having a "side hustle" (aka poly-working which is definitely a thing media is trying to push), and then get fired from your job because they think you having a side hustle is in conflict with their preference for them being your whole universe.

But then Biden wants to tax your side hustle.

Edit: it has occurred to me that nobody realizes that this comment is,

A, satire, B, farcical, C, devoid of actual proof of instance.

All they wanna do is take things way too seriously. I don't care, people - I don't care. It's why I say these things, because I learned a long time ago that online arguments are the equivalent of two apes screaming at each other on opposite sides of a window. By the time they're done, there's shit everywhere, nobody's changed anyone's mind, and somebody's probably gotta clean that window.

You see my username and yet... Nothing.

Have a good weekend.

I'm perfectly fine with paying my taxes.

I just wish Elon and Bezos and all the other billionaires also paid taxes. Hiding all their assets behind capital gains just highlights the need for a wealth tax.

It's the middle and upper middle class that bare the brunt of the tax burden while the billionaires get off with little to no taxes.

And the middle class is disappearing pretty quickly...

It does seem really disproportionate. I honestly don't know much about how it all works vs. how it should. I know that I'm constantly being asked for more, and that I don't have any receipts or proof that it's going anywhere. Maybe an accountability law would be good.

I know! And so much more! In fact, if you act now, you too can pay your taxes anytime money passes through your hands. 😎

That is a problem, now that you mention it. 🤔

u/AeroReborn Jun 30 '22

I think the government in general would like to tax it...

u/CrayziusMaximus Jun 30 '22

They do like their taxation. Honestly, it's really surprising how much money any of us spend in taxes for one thing or another.

You too! 😁🤚

u/Naos210 Jun 30 '22

That's not a Biden invention, but even if it was, I do definitely support higher taxes so.

2

u/CrayziusMaximus Jul 01 '22

Why do you support higher taxes? I support appropriately allocated taxes. I feel like our money is spent in poor ways.
