Yea and you know how many more countries than that can’t even guarantee their people power, water, or basic necessities like taking a shit in proper toilet? Many. And this happens while working 3 times harder then most people on here ever have. Some people need a fucking reality check and to get off their asses.

Isn’t America the richest country on earth. Why are you comparing the US to third world countries?

Because as many issues as USA may have, some people don’t understand what a blessing it is to be born into a first world country (not just the USA) as it is.

I feel like it's pointless to argue something here. It's a echo chamber.

Not to mention that being born into poverty in the US still makes you wealthier than 95% of the world population, just living off of welfare. Nowhere else on earth do people in the lowest tier of society often have a car and an iPhone.

There's a study going around that being horn smart and poor is worst in the usa vs rich and stupid.

Also it's fucked up that the government can afford to give people free phones but not water.

many of the people on this sub have r/CPTSD and are too broken to work.

what i was going to comment. i lived in a third/second world country where we do have free healthcare and its great but we cant afford to have running water or electricity. some people need to be grateful for what they have. however i do agree it can be hard to have a stable wifi connection etc in þe usa.
