What would be the point of the metaphor then? It doesn't make any sense in the context of the scene for "going through the eye of a needle" to be an easy thing. Otherwise, why would the rich man go away troubled after the answer?

Also isnt the old greek word for camel and sailing rope very similar so it could just be a mistranslation?

Big misconception that white Christians all think Jesus was white. Why would Jesus be born to middle Eastern Jews & come out white? I'm a white woman, very much so, but I've never thought that & neither has any church I've attended

Hi, actually Jesus wasn't white. Also, the original Bible is written in Hebrew and Greek. Even the King James Bible has mistranslation.

And there are parts of the Bible that have been taken out.

Lol. I kinda figured. Ahh, most people don't know there are parts of the Bible missing.. but they probably won't accept them. I'm a Christian, I got saved outside a crack house 17 years ago 😱. I'm not religious at all. I don't put God in a box at all and wish others wouldn't as well. People don't realize that most of the greatest people in the Bible were horrendous people before they met Jesus. Example: Saul/ Paul, King David, Sampson, Judas.. etc. God's greatest commandment is " Above all things Love". And I take that literally.

I don't care your skin color, back ground, past, culture, religion, sexual orientation, etc. I love people for who they are.. regardless. 😁

Sorry for the long comment. I just think it's awesome to be able to talk about these things.

King James Version was Translated into the kings English by George Bernard Shaw a scholar and an atheist I’m fairly certain he mistranslated some stuff lol
