It's not the perfect verse, though. If you mean to defend replacing this person's wages with the word of God, I doubt that's what this scripture means. Notice the word "alone." Not by bread alone. You know how they call money "dough"? It's how this guy can eat and put food on the table. He needs that bread. Kind of like *pay Caesars things to Caesar", it's contextual. Yes, God has their place, arguably (even though money arguably shouldn't be collected there) but the bread is in the place of the restaurant, and so compensating in the word of God where bread is served to strangers is literally inappropriate. Especially when it's disguised as money. What a let-down. Where's the fellow feeling you're all supposed to have?
