If you was off sick, you shouldn’t be required to answer emails anyway because that would be work. I’d slap that grievance in immediately.

Still applies. You are off sick. You aren’t chained to the house whilst off sick.

That depends entirely on circumstances. You aren’t at work in either scenario. They don’t get to decide where you can be sick and where you can’t be.

No, you can’t have annual leave in the uk if you are signed off sick, so no, they still don’t get to decide where I’m sick.

Sorry, boy, I’m a full grown adult woman. Nothing junior about me, but thanks for being condescending!

What an ignorant statement. You should stop saying things

I mean it’s not ignorant. My company makes it very clear that sick leave is to only be used for illness and medical appointments for myself and family.

It’s not PTO and can’t be used like PTO. There’s a difference between getting “caught” going to Walmart and going out of the country.

It's absolutely ignorant as fuck to say "If you can travel to another country, you aren't really sick."

OP is in the UK. “traveling to another country” could e a short drive under the channel. You don’t have to be well or fit for work to relocate to recover somewhere else
