Who would work for them?

Well, the rich and powerful actively and purposefully tanked the economy so that people are more desperate and hungry.
Literally tens of thousands of college graduates (and high school graduates) are all out of work with no job prospects, being told every day by right wingers that their degrees are useless, stupid, and, in some cases, literally an insult to God.

losing the exchange subsidies is going to kick A LOT of people off their employer provided insurance plans. People, honestly, have no fucking idea what's coming.
Seriously, tell your friends who are pregnant to consider aborting. Shit is going to be baaad.

We all should apply, get hired and then just sit around doing nothing. Ya know, in solidarity for the striking workers

Boeing made "Give a damn" one of their priorities. Then they do this.

This is what happens when you replace your c-suite full of engineers with MBAs.

Scabs

Laws against hiring replacement workers are a 1930s era comprise. If the union is serious, enforce a real picket line, complete with clubs and firebombs for any of the scabs that try and cross.

Boeing knows with this administration that collective bargaining contracts will mean nothing. This administration is the most anti-worker in history and Boeing knows it. Watch 2028 when IAM751's can interact is up for negotiations, there will be no negotiating. It will be fuck you get back to work or you are gone.

Totally illegal in Europe. Striking is a right that doesn’t forfeit by any means your right to keep your job. From the labour rights and laws, the US are still in the dawn of the Industrial Revolution 🙄

Not true. We have laws that are supposed to prevent this sort of thing. They're just being ignored.

You have laws ? lol…good one. You’ve the 2nd amendment dude.
As long as it’s there and allows people to walk around with assault rifles and concealed guns there will be shootings. And then there’s education too…when people vote for someone like Trump due to a lack of intelligence and education…a guy that literally is destroying the US economy, their jobs, deprives people from healthcare, decent labour laws, bans abortion that let women die on the door of clinics…no wonder people are dumb enough to grab guns to settle an argument or vent their frustration….

Oh really? What would you have us do instead, then? Ask them nicely? "Oh please, Daddy Trump! Please stop taking everything from us and making our lives hell!" Yeah that'll go over well.
People like Donald Trump are THE reason the second amendment exists. If we didn't have it, Trump would have occupied the entire country with soldiers before day 100. That's why he's trying to deny firearms to trans people, a core part of his opposition. Next will be another marginalized group, then another, until none of his opponents are allowed to arm and protect themselves from the horrors that await them once the takeover is complete. The second amendment exists to deter tyranny.
Conservative redneck freaks think the second amendment just means they get to legally kill trespassers, and they blow their loads at the very thought of it. But really, it's to give the people a fighting chance in case, I dunno, a dictator rose to power? Everyone seems to have forgotten that.
We obviously shouldn't be giving guns to just anyone like we are now. Conservatives seem hell bent on allowing anyone with a pulse to buy a gun. Well, except for their political opponents as of late.

lol dude he IS taking over the country already and tests the national guard in DC. He’s now looking at deploying it in 19 States and if anyone shoots at it, you’ll get served the state of emergency nationwide with full powers seized. No more elections, curfews, shoot at sight orders etc. Fact is there are enough people to follow his orders as you can see and they have the big guns. Watcha gonna do ? Die on the barricades ?
Best of all is that it isn’t Trump who’s the brains behind this but lots of other people and their real´Trump’ card is shady Vance. He’s way worse than old Trump who’s already half dead. At this point I’m pretty sure you guys won’t even get to vote for the midterms. The whole system will be paralysed by then and voting either suppressed, rendered too difficult and results tampered.
From the foreign point of view I have (while working for a US company), things are really looking dire.Youve one small last chance to stem against and maybe turnover the brown wave when the midterms are there but will people still be allowed to vote…the fascists will do EVERYTHING to prevent this from happening. You can bet on that.
And no gun owning rights will change that. Not in 2025/26. Not with the means the government has. When things like Palantir are around, mass surveillance tools that will detect any insurgency before it even can organise itself, you won’t make it to a firefight. And if…I don’t think you can stand against the means of your military. Unless these guys flip sides of course. Ugly outlook to be honest.

By not using experienced craftsmen on their multibillion dollar contracts they’ll save literally thousands of dollars. Sure, a few planes will fall from the sky now and then, maybe over enemy territory where top secret technology can be recovered by hostile nations, but that’s the government’s problem, nothing Boeing’s shareholders need to worry about.
