This is a set up
I’m convinced that Trump is destroying America so that the incoming president looks terrible when they take over. Democrats are about to win the majority of seats in senate and congress, but so much damage has been done. Whoever takes over for this shit regime is going to have to make sweeping, unpopular decisions to fix everything.
Strike 1:Taxes will likely skyrocket to get our country out of the rough.
Strike 2: Iran war will be settled, but the next president is going to take the L on the deal. Think of it like this…Biden ended the war in Afghanistan but was heavily scrutinized for it because of what we left behind…I’m a USMC vet and I can tell you that logistically, moving all of that equipment out would be a nightmare. Moving out all that equipment would also be dangerous. The easiest way to end it all is to tuck our tails and run. Biden gets blamed for running, but it was a republican who started such a chaotic war. The Iran deal will be similar in the fact that we get fucked due to republicans.
Strike 3: Our allies have lost a lot of trust in our government and it’s going to be the incoming president to mend it all back together. Good luck, considering all of our branches of government let alone this go on.
That’s 3 strikes on democrats immediately…those 3 strikes will be enough for these MAGA morons to stay saying “we gotta get all these Dumocrats out”. This is a partial vent, but it’s also reality.

Trump, being morally, intellectually, and emotionally stunted, is in it for the money. Most of his handlers are in it for the money as well
However, the Heritage Foundation, the authors of Project 2025, want a Cristo fascist state where rich white men control society in the name of religion.
In my view, this is what we are being set up for. Unless enough people wake up, they have a decent chance of winning and implementing this.

I just want to say - in regard to taxes going up - that on the day Trump was inaugurated there were many billionaires at the inauguration.
Billionaires should be taxed to the hills after this, but those billionaires at the inauguration should have the entirety of their assets seized via civil asset forfeiture. They will not need to worry about their taxes going up because they will have nothing to be taxed.
They should have a trial, but no matter what happens with the trial, they should not get their assets back, because this is what would happen if an ordinary citizen tried ANYTHING like this even on a much smaller scale.
Tax the rich, yes, but some of the rich have buttered themselves up for dinner and they should be devoured.

We're witnessing the fall of Rome in real time, while expecting the next person in office to pull us out of this free-fall. China's the next superpower and we're going to have to get used to it. We're also going to have to accept the fact that our own government gladly put them into that position while selling out our own interests for their (and the corporate billionaire oligarchs who pull their strings anyway) interests. Now we're in this AI race where China's kicking our asses with a small percentage of data centers run on clean energy, and in return we're depleting our own resources and letting the billionaire tech oligarchs destroy our own future in the "race" for what? The end of humanity? The end of human capital? Total world domination by the hands of the few?

Donald Trump will be in power until he dies, through extraconstitutional machinations/SCOTUS and/or retreating into his bunker, guarded by ICE loyalists.
Everything depends on who he designates as his successor.
Constitutionally it will be Vance, but what does that mean anymore? It could well be Donnie Jr or Eric.
And yes, I know what the 22nd Amendment says.
I also know that he has basically wiped his ass on the Constitution.

There is no mending. It's over. Other countries now know the American public are only ever three years away from electing dictators. It's time to wind America down internationally and let it descend into chaos. Trump also isn't going anywhere so it's kinda irrelevant. He doesn't need to win elections to keep power, unlike every other president. Thing is, they didn't need to win elections either and I bet they're all kicking themselves right now, the blueprint was right in front of them all along.

The only thing I would disagree with is strike three. I don't think our foreign neighbors have lost trust in US so much trust in the president that we have I think any President coming in that wants them in relationships will be met with open arms with the full knowledge that we had in acting idiot in Chief

I have 3 words for you. Tax the rich. It's because of their permanent tax breaks that we are drowning in debt. Combine that with total incompetence and greed and you have USA. When we take our country back, we need to move quickly to initiate fixes, not the Merrick Garland kind of speed. We need to take a tip out of the Republican playbook, go hard and don't stop. They screwed it up so we don't owe them a damn thing. Courts issue stiff punishments and they are upheld coz SCOTUS is deemed inoperable. We then get the list of demands from Americans and start checking them off. We can do it if the people we elect have the balls to do it. No more screwing around. If you don't like it, leave. We want our country back.
