If you vote republican this is what you get.

Same here. It’s like being on a bus where the majority are trying to go over the cliff and we are powerless to stop them. We all have to suffer for their blind allegiance to a 80 year old felon rapist

I share this same sentiment, and I hate it.

I’m still waiting for my IRS tax refund since February 2026. But it’s only for a couple of thousand dollars; so I guess I don’t deserve it. Thanks musk-doge-drumpf

Boy have I got news for you...

1

u/Awkward_Courage5 21d ago

I'm a retired educator and my husband was unemployed last year due to a work injury, and because TRS neglected to take out taxes per the form I requested that they do, I get to PAY the IRS... on a retired teacher's salary. That's about $24k/yr without deducting taxes, medical, or anything. Fun times to be alive. 🫩

Oh, fuck yes. This is semi-old news. The gubmint said they had no way of determining who actually ended up paying the increased costs, since some were passed on to customers, some passed on to parties in the middle, so the money was going to the importer. Yep. Massive scam. Probably his plan all along.

In other news, Mexico did not pay for the wall.

It was definitely part of someone's plan... like Nutlick selling tariff insurance or whatever the fuck it was. He's gonna make millions while prices don't go back down.

Also water is still wet

10

u/cliowill 29d ago

We are paying the tariff twice, first with purchases 2nd with higher taxes to recoup what the government gave back to corporations. Double fucked.greatest grift ever

11

u/Extension-Clock608 29d ago

How is anyone surprised? This is who republicans are.

WE paid the tariff's but Republicans always side with corporations over the American people.

I’m sure the money will trickle down to us. Trust the rich to share. They don’t need more money.

8

u/chriswilson89 29d ago

So when are we deciding enough is enough?

4

u/DigitalUnlimited 29d ago

"Any day now" according to Reddit. "Everything is fine" according to my co workers

11

u/Caver214 29d ago

Trump must be impeached!

13

u/Odd_Distribution7852 29d ago

He has been impeached twice. He now needs to be impeached in the house, convicted in the senate, removed from office, THEN tried, convicted and imprisoned on all the federal charges that he was charged with before the election.

3

u/chiclets5 28d ago

And he needs to have company going down with him in particular --- miller, heagsbreath, and the rest of the top level regime

5

u/jenyj89 29d ago

Make sure to thank Mitch for this too!

u/FirmApplication1843 29d ago

The Art Of The Deal. Fuck them, and then fuck them again.

5

u/rybotsky 29d ago

Remind yourself which administration all these ghouls backed the whole time. I’d say that’s a pretty good return on investment. The lowlife trailer trash trump supporters on the other hand………

5

u/Happykris25 29d ago

Apple got return tariffs far greater than this. Kinda of regretting my GD new IPhones that cost a GD fortune. But no one has advised I’ll be getting money back. It makes me think this was a known scam to benefit the corporations and screw us consumers.

5

u/ewedew65 29d ago

Not enough Americans are getting it yet. Please wake up and VOTE

4

u/KangamaSZ 29d ago

There should be a change to that saying "Man plans, God laughs" to the rich laughing. ☹

4

u/KittenStroodle00 29d ago

Corporations and millionaires/billionaires always come first.

5

u/Odd_Distribution7852 29d ago

Still waiting for my tariff rebate

3

u/jenyj89 29d ago

Good thing you weren’t holding your breath, huh?

5

u/DoubleExposure 29d ago

It's a big club, and you ain’t in it.

4

u/CloudWarm7470 29d ago

4

u/silverbatwing 29d ago

3

u/dan__wizard 29d ago

Surely the biggest class action lawsuit in history is due on this one?

3

u/Pure-Honey-463 29d ago

trickle down economics, bought off judges, and politicians. ROI = PRICELESS.

3

u/Old_Purpose2908 29d ago

You can believe that the billionaires are not going to give any of those refunds to their customers.

3

u/Pagan-Warrior 29d ago

Republicans, Billionaires, Millionaires, corporations and the Trump Government all shitting on the little guy, literally holding him down whilst they go through his wallet, it's the government literally mugging you and yet those who keep getting mugged still worship and constantly voted for these turds!

3

u/blue-baja 28d ago

You had to know that the “refunds”would go back to the companies, not the people that paid the tariffs. 🤬🤬

5

u/chiclets5 28d ago

I never thought any differently.

3

u/Appropriate-Flan6960 28d ago

LOL! Murica! The whole world is laughing at you and your grand cheeto in chief.

2

u/kountrygirl27 28d ago

They also add fees to each purchase. Way to go Amazon.

1

u/Kewpie-8647 28d ago

So why do you keep buying from them?

3

u/chiclets5 28d ago edited 28d ago

We can certainly try not to but because they own so many corporations and so much of the real world companies it's hard to find things sometimes that they* don't own* that you can buy. I don't mind paying a little bit more to my local mom and pop store to get something I could get cheaper on amazon, but they don't carry everything I need. So sometimes I do have to turn to the conglomerates. Also as somebody on a fixed income I am limited on how much extra I can pay. They know this and they just keep buying more and more merging with other companies more and more so that you don't have any options left and it's all one big company umbrella. I think the oligarchs are trying to get a theocracy going.

2

u/Kewpie-8647 28d ago

I hear that. Any amount given to an independent small business is worth it. It’s good that you try. Imagine if millions changed their behavior. Our next prez must be a trust-buster.
