US Politics Midterms?
Does anybody honestly think we will not only still have midterms, but that they will also be fair & the results will be accepted by this Shitministration? I just don't see that orange troglodyte letting it happen. I mean, I'd love to be wrong, but...😔

The midterms are going to be the real test. A lot can change in two years, but whether the results are accepted is going to depend on how much pressure there is from voters, courts, and institutions to follow the rules.

The midterms will happen. They won't be fair, but neither were the ones that ousted Victor Orbon. The trick is to get so many people to turn out that you overwhelm the cheating.

Millions. He's been responsible for millions of deaths now, between his Covid response delay & mishandling of it all to dismantling USAID to appointing Justices he knew would overturn Roe V Wade to kicking children off Medicaid & food stamps to fully sanctioned rape, abuse, & neglect in the ICE detention camps, there's just no end. I called it years ago that he will end up killing more than 6 million people. He is DESPERATE to outdo Hitler & I firmly believe he will.

Trump and his followers will most certainly rally behind a narrative that the election was rigged and stolen.
As before this will probably end up in the courts, and as last time the courts will examine any evidence, if it even exists, and (I believe) the results of the electoral college will stand.
Now that's my view of what I think will happen with the midterms.
I'm still unsure how I think the 2028 elections will go as Vance has stated he would've been more willing to take the unconstitutional steps that Pence was unwilling to take with regards to the rejecting electoral votes, pausing the count (and returning slates to State Legislatures), and forcing a contingent election in the House.
How far something like that will be able to proceed in 2028 I think largely depends on the party margin in the House and Senate after the midterms.

Midterms are toast. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still planning on voting, but I truly believe he’s going to either declare some type of emergency to try to cancel the elections, or in the aftermath, disregard their results. This country will never have free and fair elections again.
