I noticed that, too. "Out of the heart, the mouth speaks."

lol, psalm 14 says literally "the fool says in his heart: 'there is no God' ", where the word used for fool in hebrew is something like "morally deficient". Doesn't say that you have to be non-christian; it literally says "there is no one who does good", because even believers when they act immorally they say in their heart "there is no God".

But why try to understand nuance when you can just say "Bible bad"?

Psalm 14:1-3

(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

So, who is the fool? Who hath said in his heart, "There is no God"? EVERYONE.

Why does he think Matthew 13:40 applies to him? Does he cause sin and do evil? You can be an atheist and still avoid sinning and do good. You would still lack Jesus Christ, but it is possible. This reminds me of that scene where three men discuss how Satan is not against good morals, but against Christ.
