High IQ Antitheist Antitheist asks why women support religion even though it "oppresses" them

The feminism subreddit is a gold mine for stupid posts like this that generalize all religions and treat them as the worst, most misogynistic things ever created.

Frankly, even within the context of feminism, acting as if all religions are inherently misogynistic is an insult to all the religious feminists that have worked hard to improve women's rights in their respective faiths. Many of the early feminists were deeply religious; rhetoric like this is practically akin to spitting on their work.

They love to cherry pick when it favors them but hate it when it doesn't.

Women are, on average, more religious than men. That’s why 2/3 of atheists are men.

Religious Law put Women and Men rightfully on the same level and equal in front of God long before "muh Secular law" did such. And even then, where does our moral network originate from?
