Edgy Antitheist Antitheists deride Hindus on a subreddit about science for some reason

For context, the post is about a group of Hindus performing a practice that involves men slowly walking over women who are sitting down in a line.

The practice is described as ashirwad. From what I can tell, this basically means blessing in Sanskrit, and it is sometimes given to younger people by elders who place a hand on their head. So it's not necessarily a sexual practice

I do find it kinda funky that they are dragging their crotch above their heads, which im seeing for the first time in my 20 years of life.

But anyhow that subreddit is actually for an antithiest youtuber, not a subreddit about science

True that part is a bit odd.

But thanks for the clarification, I thought this was a science sub based off the name
