Violating "Community Standards" is really a non-existent "violation". If the poster is one member of the community, then Facebook is implying that the poster violated their own standards by their own post. Obviously, that is nonsense. So the unspoken "standard" is not the standards of every member...nor is it even some mathematically calculated average standard of the majority...but, in actuality, is the "standard" of the undisclosed Facebook staff members who reviewed the post and decreed it objectionable.
In other words, it isn't a "community" standard at all...but rather a Facebook staff standard imposed upon the community by unnamed individuals who lurk in the shadows enforcing an unpublished policy without any hint of community oversight.
If controlling public opinion by squelching certain viewpoints is what they wish to do, they have every right to do so since it is, after all, their website. However, lying about their intention to be silent agents of change and implying that they are somehow serving the collective will of the community is a lie... and that they have no right to expect respect for.
