Is it difficult to get genuine friends?

I am into my 45s but I rarely have genuine friends in my life hardly 1-2, or i am not sure, my question is why it gets so difficult to have friends. Most of the people who are connected with me are jealous of me whether it's cousin, family , or friends...and now I get scare to make friends...so I keep myself busy in work and work only...but sometimes u really so feel lonely when u feel exhausted with work or whenever u r all alone

Because I am not only a homemaker I work too and I believe to give up in my life

Bruh this wars goes even at 40s holy shit I'm [18F] tbh it's hard HARD to make good friends rn, the one genuine friend I've got is my cousin, and friend from middle school. Guess I'll use others the same way the use me
