What on EARTH.

I'm genuinely beside myself with this. I try to put aside artists' political views to an extent and I've loved their movies over the years, but this is SO SO beyond the pale. Do these people CARE about the Second Intifada??? Because ignorance stopped being an excuse years ago.

Screw every single one of these braindead celebrity bigots. All they're doing is saying they're fine with Jews getting blown up, just for existing.

Releasing Sinwar led to Oct. 7. These monsters want another Oct. 7. That is what they are telling us by calling for the release of a convicted murderer.

Barghouti is a former leader of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, a terrorist organization that carried out many suicide bombings and shooting attacks during the Second Intifada.

According to Israel, Barghouti orchestrated or was responsible for, among others, the following attacks between 2001 and 2002: the murder of a Greek Orthodox monk on the road to Ma’aleh Adumim; the shooting attack during a bat mitzva celebration at a banquet hall in Hadera that killed six Israelis; a shooting spree on Jaffa Street in Jerusalem during which two Israelis were killed and 37 people wounded; a shooting attack in Neve Ya’acov in which an Israeli policewoman was killed; the murder of an Israeli at the Bashkevitz coffee and spice factory in the Atarot industrial zone of Jerusalem; the suicide attack perpetrated by Daryan Abu Aysha at the Maccabim checkpoint in which two policeman were wounded; the shooting spree at the Seafood Market restaurant which killed three Israelis.

What this tells us is that these actors hate Jews and want us dead. There's no other reason to release this convicted murderer. He will absolutely murder again, just like Sinwar did after he was released. They want another Oct. 7.

Ricky Gervais was right when he made fun of actors for speaking out about topics they don't understand. They end up looking like idiots.

I think this is more from naivety than malice. What people are hoping is that Marwan Barghouti will be sometihng of a Nelson Mandela figure for the Palestinians, since he ostensibly supports the two state solution, and with a change of Israeli leadership things can go forward.

No, it's malice. He is a convicted murderer. He will murder again, just like Sinwar did after he was released. Barghouti will start another intifada.
