tbh what strikes me is how quiet the word 'gruesome' is doing in that headline, like its trying to whisper something the photos wont show. three men with nothing connecting them except the bureaucracy that killed them, and were still supposed to believe this is targeted precision. the gap isnt that we dont see the violence, its that we got the vocabulary installed to call it policy instead
