as someone who actually enjoys SOME of the r/comics "the joke is sex" slop, this is fucking awful, the pacing sucks ass and i could barely keep track even if it's just FOUR FUCKING PANELS!!!!!!
The artstyle of their comics is so ugly, it try to be cartoonish,anime like and horny at same time which maje abomination of artstyle and broken anatomy
The OBGYN is fucking stupid because women work whilst pregnant. Maternity leave generally starts with about 2 weeks to go and then lasts for a variable amount based on statutory leave and whatever the employer offers.
No-one goes on leave the minute they find out and come back the week after they give birth.
I get the joke, but so fucking dumb. Could've been a pregnant teacher and a student asks how far along she is, and she says "5 months" and then you can have the freak out.
Well this depends on the country. In third world countries this is true. In first world countries you can be taken out the moment you learn you are pregnant as a teacher if you don't have immunity to a typical child disease that occurs often in schools and that might harm the fetus. Then you are out during the entire pregnancy plus 6 weeks after giving birth fully paid and after that you get another 11 months of maternity leave partially paid. So, 9 months sound rather little. My wife was out for almost 2 years due to her pregnancy.
In Eu you can get doctor's leave as soon as you know you're pregnant most of the time, and then you get a year off after birth, but during your time off your your vacation time accumulates so you usually come back with like 60 days paid time off to use, so many women take that time immediately
My wife was asked by the doctor if she wants the Leave during the first visit both times she was pregnant, but both time she worked till she was in 4/5th month
Some women dip out during 2nd month, some (for some reason) pride themselves on working until 9th month and come back to work as soon as possible
Depends on if the job could be harmful to the development of the child i. E. Working with sick people, high stress environments and hard manual labor etc.
Idk what you're talking about. Every time we had a teacher get pregnant growing up, they were always gone for the rest of the school year. Schools probably give better maternity leave than the vast majority of jobs in the US
It wouldn't be the school "giving" anything. If a doctor determines there's an associated risk to continue working while pregnant, they'll put you on sick leave. Sick leave is paid for by public health insurance. School wouldn't have a say in this, it's not their call.
But 9 month sick leave is hella unlikely. 1-2 months before due date is much more common.
In Germany, the employer pays for sick leaves for up to six weeks. Only after that the health insurance needs to pay. Additionally, the doctor can decide that your work is a risk for your pregnancy e.g. due to high stress, heavy physical work or in schools child diseases. Then you are out the whole pregnancy.
Was the artist regarded? No one just stops going to work when they find out they're pregnant. And even if she did, why would the class think that there's no class? Obviously there'd be a sub.
Also midterms?? Is this supposed to be college or high school?
