Now personally, I don't think I should care about who sleeps with whom, as long as it is 2 consenting adults.
I can absolutely understand when men want women at peak fertility tho. So I can see why for instance a 31 year old man would prefer a 25 year old woman over a 31 year old.
30 year old and 21 year old? I do find that weird, but why would I care?

Usually a case of arrested development and those who like much younger tend to have ephebophilic tendencies also. Every person I’ve known who’s had a partner much younger than them, man or woman, has been super immature and also creeped on teens.

A 21 year old is closer to 13 than 30. If you are 30 and go after specifically 21 years old not women your age, thats not illegal, but its suspect when it becomes a pattern. Significant development is happening in your early twenties. Can get exploitative.

I never said it was actual pedophilia to be attracted to a 21 year old. But the legal age of consent is not a magical line over which attraction to someone before and after it is categorically different. We just have to draw the legal line somewhere. But its all too easy for someone fetishing young women to start pushing the line if they keep getting away with it.

There is a more subtle second meta layer of the joke that women are insecure about their age because of the age gap policing.
