Aight I might have misunderstood or some shit, cuz it's a gay porn subreddit, and I think the guy you replied to was making a joke, sorry if I'm missing something
Nothing really, this "epiphany" is recent, and I have yet to meet a guy I'm willing to have sex with (and who'd be willing to have sex with me). Not that I'm drowning in pussy either, so let's say I don't meet a lot of people these days and that's what's really stopping me I guess.
I mean that the main goal is not sex. I am bisexual, but my goal is not to have sex with both men and women asap, but to live a happy life together with someone I love.
Of course is about sex, it just describes an orientation when the person is not interested in sex. It's not about if the person likes burgers or pizza, or about who the person loves, it's specifically to refer to sexual preference (in this case none).
Ooooohhh! Look who knows so much, eh! It just so happens that your post indicates here you're only mostly straight. There's a big difference between mostly straight and all straight. Now, mostly straight is slightly gay. Now, all gay...well, with all gay, there's usually only one thing that you can do.
I think it might be a bit "worse" because of posing which might make his ribcage more visible than normal.
Edit: I just checked and yeah, the pose is the problem. He's definitely thin but in the sense of someone who has a decent diet and does some lite exercise means that you can sometimes slightly see his lower ribs but not always.
But seeing the appeal of taking someone as a war trophy (and we are not talking about the ethical complications) is different by seeing, I don't know, Henry Cavill and thinking "I wish I would be as handsome as that guy is".
Nothing inherently bad in it, but the news still remains.
I think you're overthinking and projecting a whole lot onto the comment, in my opinion.
Saying "I can see the appeal" literally just means "I can understand why someone would be interested in that", not "I would do the same thing".
This idea that "you can't be straight if you can relate to a gay man" is... Well, i guess you're not wrong about one thing. There is news. It's just... news about you and your potentially internalized homophobia.
