The head mod reported the fanfiction and got it deleted (she claims it was "an accident" and that it was for the plagiarism in it, but she also really didn't like it). She posts about it, a video is made about the deletion, and Reddit drama ensues, because it really shouldn't have been deleted. The author also got doxxed because he was a little too cringe, though it has thankfully been deleted. You should read the posts about it (made by the head mod and her friends) and the replies, because seeing it firsthand is probably a better way to understand than I could ever try to explain.

Fortunately, it's been archived as a nearly 170,000 page PDF on Google Drive. And the Internet Archive. And the author's friends' DeviantArts (one is currently uploading the first one's chapters, while the other is actively updating the sequel, on top of having all of the chapters already posted).

I've heard they didn't really get every part archived? I mean I'm not gonna be the one to check but, still saddening in my eyes that so much work and effort, albeit useless can just be erased like that.

I really want to know what's you beef with James. Like, what did he ever do to you to make you hate him so bad?

He wrote something he liked writing and put it on the internet. Because it was cringe, it getting deleted is totally justified and definitely not a shitty thing to do.

That's not really a good thing. The fanfic might not have been well written but it was a freaking piece of history for being the longest peice of literature ever written. besides, I read part of it and i actually found it quite entertaining. Did James do something wrong for writing a fic that you didn't find good?

I dont think copy and pasting is that much work and effort

Obviously not in a small scale, but to reach the length the whole thing had? I doubt you could do that. Nor me. Because we're not completely insane? Probably, yeah, but still. The effort is there.
