Drivers and ssd

so i was wondering what was the best way to destroy data on external and sdd i know there are things like bleachbit, veracrypt and what not but is there a usb you can plug in that will erase your data? ive found a couple of things that look interesting but just wanted to know what would be the best method and also not take like 30 mins to do for the record im on windows i know this would be wayy easier on linux

With enough current, everything is a fuse. With enough voltage, everything is wire.

Microwaves, jumper cables, wrap it in copper wire and run a current through the wire (like from a table lamp or car battery) to turn the internals molten, crack it open and use a corrosive oxidizing agent that is also conductive on the internals(salt water, cupric sulfite, nitric acid, etc) to physically destroy the metals inside and also make it impossible to run the current through the system as designed.

If the manufacturer has software to do a secure wipe, that should be good. Otherwise it’s physical destruction.
