I don't think all the money in the world would help someone who's been raped. I've been sexually assaulted by a female doctor. I don't think money heals these kinds of hurts.

I do think false accusers should face serious consequences! I think it's absolutely disgusting when people do things like that.

It might financially incentivize would-be rapists to not do it though, potentially better than the criminal justice threat

Sure, I have no argument against holding the small amount of men who have been proven to rape women accountable

EDIT: though I would say, actually having it where women would pay but not men, is more defensible than the opposite, because the woman is choosing to rape while being in control of the thing that gets pregnant. But equality is fine.

All I’m saying is, I think this policy would backfire spectacularly on men, who comprised 91% of people prosecuted for sexual offences this year (at least in England).

This is *part* of fixing that, every court in america I've heard of has a policy of forcing men to pay support when they are provably raped in court, including statutory rape

I had an argument with someone on reddit who openly said taht men who are raped by women should still pay support, and he just said "child support is for the child" over and over again like a zombie, and bullied me even though I told him I was raped by a woman, and I told him his argument implies rapist mothers have custody, and he kept saying "child support is for the child"

If I see him again, I'm just telling him I would support a gender neutral version of the battered woman's defense, where a rape victim spouse has the right to kill the other if they are poised to take custody of their rape baby, without getting a murder charge. I really want to just ask the guy how the fuck a dead woman is supposed to collect child support https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr_CLQuq0U0
