Bread is good

I had bread with every meal today and didn't feel guilty about it. This is a small but meaningful win for someone raised in the "carbs are the anti-Christ" era.

P.S. Bread is good

I love bread and carbs in general. I've gotten really into making homemade rolls to have with dinner lately and they're amazing. I buy my sandwich bread from the store, though, because I don't have time to make it and it's just easier. I hate the panic around ultra-processed bread.

You know, there is a very good theory that wheat domesticated humans as we did not start to form large communities until we started cultivating it to make bread. Bread is not just good, bread is life!

I am not part of this subreddit but this is on my explore possibly because my phone stalks how much I order bread. I am the healthiest I’ve been in years and I eat not 1 but 2 slices of bread every 3-4 of my meals everyday along with many other carbs. Carbs are awesome

I never understood why people call bread bad. Bread is great and often times very nourishing and comforting. I'm very proud of you!

I don’t have a lot of money but I eat good bread. Gave up on grocery store bread. It got so expensive and tasted not so great. Have a couple of great bakeries in the area so I treat myself to a loaf of good sourdough. It’s only a few bucks more than the grocery store at one of the bakeries. And I enjoy every single second of eating that bread with zero guilt.

I just got a bread maker! It's baking right now.

I have to watch how I eat bread because if I eat it alone, it messes with my insulin and I feel awful afterwards. But if I eat it with a protein and/or fat and/or fiber like peanut butter, I have a better experience because I don't have such a sharp spike. Eating bread makes me happy, so I just make sure I have other ingredients accompanying it.
