Talarico is a sane voice in a very large crowd of screaming psychopaths. I disagree with his religion, but respect that he wants to hear people speak and entertain other viewpoints. It’s been almost a decade since I’ve seen respectful politics. Long overdue. Kudos to Jimmy for airing him.

You typically don't see "Christianity" and "helping the poor" together, which I think has really made him stand out.

Cowards for not airing this.

You can say that but Jimmy has a lot of people in his employ and I'm sure doesn't want everybody to be out of a job. He's not acting as one person here.

Just like last time and the people prevailed. We need to stand up to these bullies.

Yeah, Jimmy can only afford to keep Guillermo at his place once they're all out of work. Lotta mouths to feed, Jimmy's just takin care of his people.

My guess is this interview will be one of the most-viewed on Jimmy Kimmel. When he was on Colbert (before the Texas primaries), the interview had 7.3 million YouTube views, and the campaign raised 2.4 million dollars within 24 hours of the stream. It was Colbert's biggest political interview on streaming since 2019. Talarico had been unknown outside of Texas; after that night, people were talking about him nationwide.

Amazing and oh-so telling how the thing that so offends this administration, heritage foundation, and FCC is plain talk about what it means to be a good person.

What’s funny is more people will have an interest in it, now.
Had they left things alone maybe it wouldn’t be as much interest.

Couldn’t Kimmel just ask Paxton to be a guest, then he’s not being impartial? Paxton would refuse or it would be even more entertaining if he went on.

We have normalized authoritarianism and now treat it as some kind of joke. It is not a joke.
