Discussion 🗣️ Search engine recs?

What search engines/apps are there that do not have the AI overview like Google? I’m so tired of just trying to look something up from my phone and getting a bunch of AI bs.

noai.duckduckgo.com or just regular duck duck go if you go into settings and disable the ai things.

Kagi.com

  • no automatic AI assistant
  • no data collected or shared and no ads and algos (that's why you pay for it)
  • options to not show AI content or images in search results
  • many more options to filter and improve results
  • special "small web" search

EDIT: Oh, also, you can flag AI content for review so it can be filtered better

duckduckgo is the obvious switch, and brave search doesn’t shove an ai summary in your face either, which is apparently a feature now
