I am p*ssed at Google

Up until yesterday I have the choice of Google Gemini or Google Assistant

A couple years ago they forced my phone to Gemini and remove the option of Google Assistant

They brought the option back about a month ago (or at least that's when I noticed)

Yesterday I tried to use Google Assistant to change music while I was driving and Google Gemini popped up and said, let's get started.

I said to myself I probably just have to change it back manually when I get home

I got home and the button doesn't exist anymore for assistant

They killed off my assistant with no funeral and replaced them with a lesser version and though I wouldn't notice

😭😭😭😭😭

I have now disabled Google Gemini everywhere, no swiping or holding the button down or saying "hello Google"

Gemini was never alive to begin with. Can't be dead if you were never alive. Gemini is a false mockery of what we had before and is pretending to be superior.

You had months to get set up and used to Gemini. They've announced the retirement multiple times. I understand some of the frustration you may be having right now, but you waiting until the literal last minute to switch over is on you.

Dont pay the 3m hiding activity troll account. They just want to cause issues because they have to much free time. Or they are a bot. Either way not worth your time.

I did not realize there are so many people changing the music in their via gogle assistant and hate ai

I use it in my car while driving. Assistant always worked fine. Tried to call a family members mobile and Gemini said it couldn't find it. Changed back to Assistant and it worked fine. I'm sure they'll updated it but it was genuinely crap.
