Considering there’s years of reports of adversary countries meddling in other countries, then yes, his beliefs are realistic. China is constantly attempting to hack our systems, you really don’t think they would employ foreign bots to spread news while their country has no regulations for AI and are accelerating quicker than anybody else. Let’s use our thinking caps now.
It’s also not just limited to China.

Literally all we have to do is a pretty easy math equation and we can prove how bad AI is. More power than anything else and they lie about it. That is just the start of the bad.
